MQTT Connection
HMI and PLC use the same six MQTT configuration fields. Controller ID and Username are independent values.
ORPEKO Cloud in browser HMI: mqtt.orpeko.com · port 8884 · TLS ON (WSS). The PLC/ESP uses port 8883. Username is not generated from Controller ID.
Password fields support normal Copy / Paste. WebSocket path is fixed internally to /mqtt.
I/O Names
Rename the eight outputs and eight inputs shown throughout the HMI.

Enter a condition and press VALIDATE.
USER VARIABLES
Create variables without writing the VAR block manually.
0/10 VARIABLES
BOOL, INT and REAL retain their value between controller scans. Loading a new program resets them to FALSE/0. Maximum 10 user variables. The HMI automatically writes these declarations inside VAR ... END_VAR.

HMI V27
Dashboard

This is the main overview page. Here you can see if the Controller is online, the sensor values, inputs and outputs.

How to use it: after connecting the HMI, check that the Controller is online. Use this page to see what is happening in the automation process.

Outputs

Here you can turn Output1…Output8 ON or OFF manually.

You can also choose what each output should do after the Controller restarts.

Schedules and Conditions can later change an output automatically.

Inputs

This page shows the real state of Input1…Input8.

Inputs can be used inside Conditions, but they cannot be changed from the program.

Schedules

Use this page when you want an output to turn ON and OFF automatically at selected times and days.

How to use it: enable the schedule, choose the ON time, OFF time and days, then save it.

Conditions

This page is used to create automatic rules.

You write simple IF rules, press VALIDATE, and if there is no error you send the program to the Controller.

If the program is not valid, correct the error before sending it.

Settings

Here you can change the controller name, the names of inputs and outputs, and the HMI language.

Wi-Fi, sensor and communication setup is done from the Controller configuration page.

Output control and Hard OFF

Dashboard momentary control can temporarily override automatic logic. On the Outputs page, ON/OFF is disabled while a Condition or Schedule owns that output, so no hidden manual value is stored.

The Hard OFF button is at the bottom of Dashboard. When active, all outputs stay OFF until Hard OFF is released.

How Conditions work

A Condition changes an output or a variable only when its command is executed.

If a condition becomes FALSE and there is no ELSE, nothing changes. The last value stays active until another rule changes it.
SET / RESET example
IF Input1 = TRUE THEN
    Output4 := TRUE;
END_IF

IF Input2 = TRUE THEN
    Output4 := FALSE;
END_IF

When Input1 becomes TRUE, Output4 turns ON and stays ON.

When Input2 becomes TRUE, Output4 turns OFF and stays OFF.

Follow an input
IF Input1 = TRUE THEN
    Output4 := TRUE;
ELSE
    Output4 := FALSE;
END_IF

In this example Output4 follows Input1 because there is a command for both TRUE and FALSE.

IF, ELSE, AND, OR, NOT

IF checks a condition.

ELSE gives the action when the IF condition is FALSE.

AND means all conditions must be TRUE.

OR means at least one condition must be TRUE.

NOT reverses TRUE/FALSE.

IF temperature > 30 AND Input1 = TRUE THEN
    Output1 := TRUE;
END_IF
Do not mix AND and OR inside the same IF line.
Variables

You can create up to 10 variables.

Available types are:

BOOL = TRUE or FALSE

INT = whole number

REAL = number with decimals

VAR
    hold : BOOL;
    level : INT;
    target : REAL;
END_VAR

Variable values stay stored while the program is running. When a new Condition program is loaded, they start again from FALSE or 0.

Wind direction

You can use direction letters or degree values.

CodeDirectionCenter
VNorth0°
VLNortheast45°
LEast90°
JLSoutheast135°
JSouth180°
JPSouthwest225°
PWest270°
VPNorthwest315°
IF windDirection = JP THEN
    Output4 := TRUE;
END_IF

You can also use exact degrees:

IF windDirection >= 210 AND windDirection <= 250 THEN
    Output4 := TRUE;
END_IF
Important limits

Maximum 8 IF blocks.

Maximum 10 user variables.

No IF inside another IF.

No counters or calculations such as counter := counter + 1;.

TON and BLINK are not supported.

Rules are checked from top to bottom. If two active rules change the same output, the last rule wins.
